R.I.P. Heather, beloved wife of Keith and the bestest ever Buzz mummy.
Someone once described to me the people who pass in and through our world are mostly tones of grey. Occasionally we are blessed and to see one or two people with (if you imagine a luminous egg) a glow in their core that you can see from within them. You might never even speak to them but you are aware of their glow. Some have a subtle glow which grabs your attention for a moment and makes you ponder about them. Others however have the brightest most dazzling glow that will shine on within others hearts long after they have gone. Heather your glow is the brightest of all and I think will shine on in others for as long as we too are allowed to stay on this earth. XXXXXX

Nike's co-star is Graham Norton

Nike's selfie with his new bessie, Graham Norton. Nike was Graham's co-star on a photo shoot on Tuesday at the swanky The Milestone Hotel for an upcoming article. maybe in The Times Magazine (Saturdays) perhaps to promote his new book 'The Life and Loves of a He Devil'. Nike was a pro and quickly got the idea of face to camera, and steal the sausage on que. LOL I don't know where the behind the scenes video will be aired but could be a funny one.

Cockapoos were a hit at The National Pet Show

We were set up and everything was shipped shaped on Saturday morning with all of 10 minutes to spare. LUXURY with my history of trying to do too much in an allotted time.   A HUGE thanks must go the Mick and Jeanette who are not only animal and house sitting for us over weekend but arrived at 9 am Friday morning and rolled up their sleeves and helped get me on the road to the NEC by 9pm !!!. They checked Silk through the night, in the early hours of Saturday morning and during the day competently saw in the arrival of a litter of puppies   great job guys, our doggies couldn't have been left in better hands.
The show is a big professional affair and next to us all day was a huge screen over an arena where Superdogs Live competition was running hosted by Ben Fogal, Noel Fitzpatrick (Supervet) was giving talks and Chris Packham was being interviewed too.
Our Cockapoo stand was THE most professional in the Discover Dogs section and I was very relieved that all the preparation and planning paid off. We were inundated with visitors without a moment even for a wee break from 9.30 am until the show overall started to slow down a little by 3.30pm on Saturday and then again from 10 am to about 4pm on the Sunday. We have given out shed loads of all of the leaflets and our boys here, Yogi, Woody III and Niki have been impeccably behaved, charming and just down right gorgeous.  Time will tell what feed back we get as a result of this effort. Below are a couple of snap shots to give you a flavour, I did see Stephen briefly using his GoPro camera so a video may follow later in the week. J x

WARNING: Beware of The Pedigree Club pedigree papers.

Stephen took a 'Cockapoo' in last week for the CCGB RRR and she came with registration to The Pedigree Club. We duly paid £10 to change the ownership and a further £10 for a 5 generation pedigree. It arrived and we checked it out against the KC. If it were to be believed then her father is a Cocker Spaniel with Doberman and Lhasa Apso ancestors and her mother is a Smooth Fox Terrier by a Cocker Spaniel out of either a Cocker or a Golden Retriever. So we have ordered a Wisdom DNA kit at a further £60 to establish what she is to see if Stephen can genuinely rehome her as a Cockapoo …

…SO what is the point of producing papers with the disclaimer 'that the information is provided by the owner'….only one reason I in my opinion, to fleece money and give fraudulent papers to unsuspecting puppy buyers and give another avenue for unethical breeders to con buyers.

I had my spay op on Monday and mum took this video last Saturday, so we’ve not been able to play at all since then, as I am recuperating, and I am not allowed to play with Rosie for a few more days still, it is very hard, cos we have such fun! But my op went perfectly and I am healing nicely, Phew, m&d are very much relieved!

That's it, our house dogs have got to go...

Living with eight of our own house dogs and a few other temporary rescue Cockapoos this winter and each of them having a crate bed in our office, has been challenging to say the least. That's a lot of muddy paws.  I toyed with the idea of getting a cabinet dog dryer so that I could clean them more easily, but I'm not keen on those dryers personally. I was also offered an eternity ring by Stephen for my 50th last year but I didn't select one so he offered again at Christmas and it is still on the back burner, much as I like sparkly things it's a lot of money.
After many hours of thinking I had a light bulb moment………if we combined to total potential cost of a cabinet dryer and an eternity ring I could built the house dogs a sitting room log cabin and we could go an visit them and chill of an evening. So that was it, I'd justified the build in my head the order was in and all we had to do was build. So for the last month we have worked like little beavers and last night we and the dogs christened 'Poo Palace. Even though the electrics are not fitted yet we were too impatient to wait.
