However the silver lining is that today at the selection for Echo's litter, one lady and her son fell head over heals in love with Mak instead of one of the little puppies and have decided that they would like him to be a part of their family. Mak seemed very taken with them too and he is already settling into his new home.

Mak
It turns out that Mak who is now 16 weeks old will not become a stud dog. Beautiful as he is, he has a small umbilical hernia that will need to be operated on at some stage, so that means that we wouldn't feel comfortable to use him for breeding. It is a decision I have been trying to ignore hoping the hernia would right itself but that was not to be.
